The greeting component has three main options;

  1. Play – play a recording
  2. Say – say a section of generated AI text.
  3. Pause – pause for a set amount of seconds.

You can add as many of these components as you like and can reorder existing ones.

The play verb plays a audio file that you have uploaded to directpbx. This could be a song or pre recorded greeting. We currently support the following audio types.

The say verb is a component that interacts with our artificial voice API. Enter some text that you wish to be spoken, select a voice and a region and our AI will dynamically interpret this. We currently have 3 voice options – Male, Female and Alice.

Male & Female

Male and Female support the following regions:

  • English USA
